Poverty, injustice and desperation are conditions that can produce conflicts and rebellions. Literature and art brought attention to the existence of enormous differences between the lifestyles of the lower,middle and upper classes. Literature and art helped attack the poor social and economic conditions that the lower classes faced and became a base for people that did not believe the government represented their interests.
